Tekken 8: free demo is now available on Steam, Xbox and PS5

A Bandai Namco brought a Christmas gift to fans of the iconic fighting franchise, with the launch of the free demo of Tekken 8available for download at PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X e S e PC (Steam). Players on other platforms will have to wait a little longer to experience the excitement of the new chapter in the saga.

The demo, which is approximately 28GB in size, offers a glimpse of what’s to come, featuring snippets from the game’s new story chapter, arcade missions, offline versus mode and a gallery for fighting game enthusiasts. Famous characters such as Jin, Kazuya, Paul and Nina are available for players to test their skills.

Arcade Quest mode aims to add an extra layer of challenge, allowing players to train in arcades and hone their skills, providing fun for veterans and beginners alike.

The full version of Tekken 8 will officially arrive on all platforms on January 26, 2024, marking the end of the temporary exclusivity on PS5. Check below where and how to download the demo on the respective platforms.

Xbox Series X e S

1. Go to the Xbox Store.
2. Search for “Tekken 8 – Demo” in the search engine.
3. Click “Get – Free” to start the download.

PC (Steam)

1. Access the Steam store.
2. Use the search bar to find “Tekken 8”.
3. Just below the trailer, click on the greenish button written “Download” to retrieve the demo.

PlayStation 5 (PS5)

1. Acesse a PlayStation Store.
2. Select “Tekken 8 – Demo” from the results.
3. Click “Add to Library” to retrieve the demo and start the download.

Tekken 8 will continue the confrontation between the Kazuma and Mishima families, the plot recognized by the Guinness World Records as the oldest narrative in the history of video games. After Heihachi’s defeat, the world was plunged into chaos with Kazuya Mishima’s power growing and his G Corporation wreaking havoc across the world.
