Assassin’s Creed Shadows is already available for computer and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S | X console, but in the near future it can reach new platforms.
Ubisoft has announced that it will launch additional versions of Assassin’s Creed Shadows for “other platforms”, in addition to current platforms. A PEGI listing previously suggested that the game could reach Nintendo Switch 2, although Ubisoft has not officially confirmed this platform.
During a financial call, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said the game had a great start and that new versions will be released without specifying which platforms.

“Assassin’s Creed Shadows, we had a very good start and we have a lot of news that will arrive soon,” said Guillemot. “We have an expansion that will be launched before the end of the quarter and also some new versions that will reach other platforms.”
Remembering that Ubisoft has confirmed that Star Wars Outlaws will be released to Nintendo Switch 2, indicating the company’s support to the new Nintendo platform.
An expansion of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, called Claws of Awaji, will be released before October 2025, adding 10 hours of content.
Ubisoft recently announced that Assassin’s Creed Shadows has exceeded five million players, standing out as a success for the company.
