A Rocksteady Studios surprised fans by announcing this Monday (22), that the infamous Clown of Chaos, Jokerwill be playable in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The revelation came during the release of information about the first season of post-launch content, scheduled for March, a month after the game’s official launch on February 2.
Detailing the roadmap for the first season of DLC, Rocksteady promises a rich experience with new boss fights, enemy variants, and a playable environment based on the Joker himself.

Joker from another dimension
The announcement generated doubt among fans of the Arkhamverse games, as the next game takes place five years after Batman: Arkham Knight and the Joker from that trilogy is dead. However, Rocksteady clarified that this is not the same character from the previous trilogy and was taken from an alternative dimension, based on the Elseworlds comics.

In this context, this version of the Joker offers a unique approach, being described as “a little more cooperative” due to his previous participation in the Suicide Squad in his home reality.
Themed seasons
The first season of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, scheduled for March, will bring a new scenario inspired by the Joker, new bosses, enemy variations, weapons and equipment from DC villains. Each season is expected to be based on one of the company’s antiheroes.
