Stellar Blade arrives on PC in 2025 and sales are expected to be high on Steam

In June of this year, Shift Up stated that it was considering launch a port Stellar Blade for PC — as well as revealing plans for new DLC and a possible sequel. Well, it didn’t take long and the studio confirmed that, in fact, the action game will hit computers next year.

In a recent meeting with investors, Shift Up stated in a question and answer session that it intends to launch Stellar Blade for PC sometime in 2025 — although he offered no forecast or window on this occasion.

Additionally, the studio also confirmed that based on recent sales trends for AAA games on Steam, citing Black Myth Wukong as an example, the expectation is that Stellar Blade sell more on PC than on PS5 with the arrival of the title on Valve’s platform.

“We are targeting a 2025 release,” said a developer at the South Korean studio. “Considering recent trends such as Steam’s growing share of the AAA games market and the global box office success of Black Mythology Wukongwe hope to see more success on PC than on consoles.”

Stellar Blade will collaborate with Nier: Automata in November

And the news doesn’t stop there. Recently, Shift Up announced a timely collaboration of Stellar Blade com NieR: Automatawhich will arrive on the PS5 game on November 20th.

The DLC will bring several new features to the game, including 11 cosmetic items based on Yoko Taro’s action RPG — as well as 2B and A2 costumes for Eve, a 9S costume for Lily and much more.

It is worth remembering that the update will bring some considerable improvements in photo mode Stellar Bladeas well as additions of new poses and filters. In addition to the collaboration, Eve will also gain four additional skins and a new accessory that changes a specific mode unlocked during the game.
