Resident Evil 4 Remake is easily one of the best games of 2023 — and if you think the news about the game has ended there, you will be in for surprises! Capcom took advantage of last week’s State of Play stage to reveal that Separate Ways, DLC with Ada Wong, will arrive this Thursday (21). Now, the Japanese giant has released the expansion’s launch trailer.
The new DLC video shows several glimpses of the spy’s adventure — and it’s interesting to note that many parts of the original game appear to be returning. Some examples include the laser corridor (only available in Leon’s campaign in the classic) and the potential return of U-3, the boss that the agent faces in the containers in the 2004 game. Check it out:
What story is told in the Resident Evil 4 DLC?
Just like in Resident Evil 4 classic, the additional episode brings Ada Wong’s perspective on the events in the village of El Pueblo. While Leon searches for Ashley to rescue her, the spy is sent by Albert Wesker to get a sample of Las Plagas. The iconic villain of the saga, in fact, seems to have even more participation this time.

Unlike the original, Ada will now have more support and interaction with Luis Sera, as well as several exciting new features in the gameplay. Some of them include your trusty mobility pistol — which is also used to face enemies with shields, for example.
How much does Separate Ways cost?
Named “Distinct Paths” in PT-BR, the expansion will be available for sale from September 21st and will require the base game. Check prices:
- PlayStation Store — R$ 53,90
- Microsoft Store — R$ 51,50
- Steam — R$ 48,00
