Red Sonja gets a trailer of his return to theaters

Red Sonja, one of the most iconic heroines of comics, is back in a new adaptation for theaters. To cheer up the fans, the studio recently released the first trailer of the feature.

In the scenes released, the redhead warrior appears in intense action sequences, facing soldiers and even mystical creatures. However, the video reception has been mixed among fans, with the video featuring almost 50% disapproval in YouTube likes.

In the YouTube comments, many claim that the look of the film resembles productions from the early 2000s. There are also criticism of the physicist of the characters, considered by some spectators as little convincing for warriors and barbarians. Nevertheless, part of the public still celebrates Red Sonja’s return to the big screen.

Scheduled to open later this year, the film is directed by MJ Bassett, known for Rogue (2020) e Solomon Kane: The Demon Hunter (2009). The lead role is with Matilda Lutz, who gained prominence on the thriller Revenge (2017).
