Despite only being revealed now, the PS5 Pro has been on everyone’s lips for a while now. Rumors about the console have been circulating since last year, including details about its hardware.

Furthermore, at the end of August, Car-onlywho has once again proven himself to be a credible source in the gaming industry, had said that the reveal of Sony’s console would happen “very soon.” And he was right: the console was revealed right at the beginning of September, just in time to hit the market for the holiday season.

Well, in the end, the description correctly matched the presentation of the device.

Shortly after the leak, Sony even published an official teaser showing the console’s design, in an image celebrating the 30th anniversary of the PlayStation brand. Now, we have official images showing the console in full.

As predicted in the leaks, the PS5 Pro arrives with a new but different look. The console has the three lines on the sides, but follows the white design that is already known from previous models.

The model will also be compatible with other existing PS5 accessories, including the PlayStation VR2, PlayStation Portal, DualSense Edge, Access controller, Pulse Elite, and Pulse Explore. Sony also indicates that the “foot” to use the console vertically is sold separately.

While the exterior of the model is still familiar, the PS5 Pro has some great new features inside.
