PlayStation 5 gets limited edition inspired by the PS1; discover the collection!

To celebrate its 30 years of history in the world of video games, Sony announced a limited edition line inspired by the aesthetics of the iconic PS1 — with gray colors and the brand’s colorful symbol. The collection includes stylized and exclusive models for the PS5 Slim, PS5 Pro, PS Portal, DualSense, DualSense Edge and even the disc player that is sold separately.

In addition to the devices, the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Limited Edition line also includes vertical support and other collector’s items, such as themed armbands and cables reminiscent of the first PlayStation controller. The collection arrives on the day November 21st.

Certainly, the collection is very limited: the PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary bundle will only be 12,300 unitswith each one engraved with numbers indicating the PS One release date.

Pre-orders for PlayStation’s 30th anniversary themed PS5 begin soon

As pre-orders for the PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary bundle begin on October 10thwhile the Reservations for the PS5 Slim, PlayStation Portal and DualSense Edge (sold separately) can be made from September 26th.

Both will be available through PlayStation Direct and authorized retailers. Prices and availability in Brazil, however, were not revealed by the Japanese giant.
