McFarlane Toys has put up for pre-sale an incredible playset inspired by the great film Joker, directed by Todd Phillips in 2019 and starring Joaquin Phoenix and Robert de Niro among others.
The Joker Movie “Live with Murray Franklin” Deluxe Collector Set playset reproduces the iconic talk show scene with a part of the studio from the live show Live with Murray Franklin, including diorama of the interview aerial with floor, backdrop background of Gotham at night, presenter’s table, 2 chairs, mug, microphone, plant and logo on wooden wall.
The “Live with Murray Franklin” Deluxe Collector Set also comes with action figures of the two main characters in the scene: the Joker himself (Joaquin Phoenix) and interviewer Murray Franklin, played by Robert de Niro. The figures feature “Ultra Articulation” technology with up to 22 points of articulation to replicate any scene from the film.
The Joker comes with 3 interchangeable clown faces, 3 pairs of hands in different positions, a revolver and a joke book. In addition to life-size collectible props such as a “Don’t Forget to Smile” metal sign, Open Mic Night paper poster, Arthur Fleck notebook and Forgive my Laughter card.
The action figures in the set, in 1:10 scale, measure approximately 17.8 cm (7”) tall and come dressed in sculpted clothes imitating those worn in the talk show scene. The set was officially licensed by DC Comics and Warner.
