Distributor GameMill Entertainment and North American broadcaster AMC announced, this Thursday (17), the game The Walking Dead: Destinies. The new title not only takes place in the same universe as the famous TV series, but also will allow players to change the course of the original story.

According to the announcement, the third-person action game focuses on narrative and will cover the first four seasons of the television series. The player will start in control of Rick Grimes and visit locations such as the Greene farm, the prison, Woodbury and Atlanta, following the original plot.

However, the game will allow “you to create your own path through the events of the series”, according to GameMill. The title includes the possibility of making choices that change who lives or dies in specific moments of the adventure, even if the resolution was different in the series.

The Walking Dead: Destinies does not yet have a set release date, but should arrive for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam). The price, according to GameMill, will be US$ 49.99 (approximately R$ 250, in direct conversion).
