Developed by the Brazilian studio Hammer95, Mullet Madjack was one of the year’s big surprises among indie games and received great praise on Steam — both from critics and the public. Despite being a game with Brazilian DNA in its veins, it still needed something to consolidate its roots once and for all: dubbing in PT-BR.

The good news here, however, is that Mullet Madjack received the long-awaited PT-BR dubbing option. The free update for the Brazilian game arrived this Friday (02) and gives even more authenticity to the Moderator’s adventure.

Voxel gained early access to the content, which allowed us to test the dubbing on the PC version. The work in Portuguese is quite satisfactory, with all the characters gaining iconic Brazilian voices, in addition to localizing certain jokes for our audience.

And look, the cast responsible for the voices is heavyweight and includes big names from classic animes that marked an era in Brazil — which, in fact, even inspired much of the game’s development. Some of them include Yu Yu Hakusho, Pokémon and the late Knights of the Zodiac.

The list of voice actors also includes Guilherme Briggs, who has dubbed several animes and films such as Toy Story and Transformers. Check out the list below:

  • Mullet Jack — Luiz Feier Motta (Stallone and Toguro / Yu Yu Hakusho);
  • Streamer — Isabel Cristina de Araujo Sá (Jesse / Pokémon);
  • Mr Bullet — Gilberto Baroli (Saga of Twins / The Knights of the Zodiac);
  • Hostage Girl — Leticia Quinto (Saori Kido / The Knights of the Zodiac);
  • Android — Hermes Baroli (Seiya de Pégaso / The Knights of the Zodiac).
  • robillionaires —  Guilherme Briggs (Buzz Lightyear / Toy Story)

Mullet Madjack Received Warm Reception on Steam

Unsurprisingly, the reception of Mullet Madjack on Steam is being great! So far, the Brazilian game has collected no less than 3,665 “extremely positive” reviews on Valve’s platform — which is certainly a great number.

The game also won the hearts of specialized critics and is among the best-rated titles on Metacritic in 2024. In the game, players will have to rescue “the most famous influencer on the planet” from the clutches of a dangerous criminal organization, made up of powerful billionaire robots.

Your battle in Mullet Madjack It’s not just about freeing the kidnapped influencer, but also about preserving her own reputation — and the entertainment of those watching.
