Mortal Kombat 2, sequence of the 2021 movie, remains in full swing in production. While fans await the release, Warner Bros. brought news showing a new image of one of the protagonists of the film.
Through social networks, we had the publication of a new official poster of the Mortal Kombat 2 movie. The image introduces us again actor Karl Urban (The Boys) in the role of the iconic character Johnny Cage.
Interpreted by Karl Urban, the team has already stated that this Johnny Cage will be a different version of the games. The actor is adding his own touch, which promises to bring a “novelty factor” to the character.
This sequence has Jeremy Slater on the script, while Simon Mcquoid, who was the director of the first Mortal Kombat, returns to direct the sequence.
Mortal Kombat 2 is scheduled to debut in theaters on October 24, 2025, with an IMAX version.
