
Funko pre-sold a collection of Mystery Minis Games mini-figure in honor of the 80th anniversary of giant Mattel.
Mattel, founded in 1945 by Harold Matson, Elliot Handler and Ruth Handler, is one of the largest and most influential toy manufacturers in the world (was confused with a country recently by the one who should not be named). Throughout its 80 years of history, the company has created cultural icons such as Barbie (launched in 1959), the hot wheels, He-Man’s action figures and Fisher-Price toys among others.
The Mattel Retro Toys 80th Anniversary Mystery Minis collection has 12 vinyl mini-figure inspired by different classic toys of the US company. Each mini-figure is individually packed in the Blind-Box style, in a licked box with surprise content and measures a maximum of 7.6 cm (3 ”) each (the height varies depending on the figure).
The collection has the following classic toys: He-Man (1/6), Peaches’ N Cream Barbie (1/6), Skelector (1/6), She-Ra (1/6), Streex (1/12), Polly Pocket Shell (1/12), Barney (1/24), 80th Anniversary Barbie Blonde (1/24), Draculaura (1/36), 80th Anniversary Barbie Brunette (1/36), View-Master (1/72) and See ‘N Say (1/72).
The four-box set 4-pack of the Mattel Retro Toys 80th Anniversary Mystery Minis Bulnd-Box boxes costs $ 27.99 in the pre-sale of Entertainment Earth, which accepts orders from Brazil.
