Super7 has pre-sold an incredible phosphorescent figure of its Ultimates line with a Martian invader of the classic collection of collectible Cards Illustrated Mars Attacks!.

The Mars Attacks cards were launched in 1962 by the American publisher Topps in Packets with 5 illustrated cards and 1 gum. The series with 55 cards, narrated with pulp -style illustrations and texts in the verses, a brutal invasion of the earth by Martians, mixing science fiction, horror and graphic violence, which caused controversy at the time. Wally Wood made the layouts, Bob Powell finished the drawings and Norman Saunders painted the arts.

The Mars Attacks! Ultimates Martian “Invasion Begins” (Glow-in-the-Dark) Action Figure reproduces a grotesque Martian soldier, including removable transparent dome helmet, exposed skull, giant brain with visible grooves and articulated jaw. The figure, on a scale 1:10, has a highly articulated body and measures approximately 17.8 (7 ”) cm in height.

The Action Figure was inspired by Letter 1 of the series, entitled “The Invasion Begins” (the invasion begins), with a Martian pointing to a legion of soldiers, organized in perfect ranks, coming down from flying discs landed to start alien invasion to Earth.

Martian “Invasion Begins” (Glow-in-the-Dark) comes in dress with spatial spatial costume with phosphorescent paint and green details for an incredible visual effect in the dark. In addition, Martian comes with two disintegrating weapons, which also shine in the dark, blue holster and nine interchangeable hands.
