Inti Creates, a studio known for the Azure Striker Gunvolt franchise, has just revealed its newest project, Majogami, an action title and 2D platform that arrives on October 30 for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, and a date after the PC.
Majogami is an action game on 2D platform starring Shiroha, a young woman without memory who travels alongside Shiori, her father turned into a sheet of paper. Armed with Katana “Kamikiri” and his instant “Setsuna” ability, Shiroha faces a bizarre world full of horrors and enemies known as Majogami – Divine Artisans Witches of distorted hearts that control this reality.
During the journey, Shiori will collect letters called Recave, which contain fragments of their memories, and uses the powers of guardians known as astrals to transform and face challenges. By defeating witches, Shiroha begins to regain her memories and discover the secrets about her past and that of her father.
Majogami offers a fast and stylish combat with the “Setsuna” system, a quick attack that allows you to cut enemies instantly, dodge scams and reach new areas with just one button. In mastering this technique, the player experiences intense and dynamic fighting. With the accumulated energy, Shiroha can activate “Astralize”, a powerful transformation accompanied.
With art direction by Yuji Natsume (Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, Blaster Master Zero), the game combines elements of handmade paper with a dark and unique style, creating a visually striking and engaging universe.
