To celebrate its 80th anniversary of the foundation, Mattel has released a special version of the Magic 8-Ball Siery Ball.
The concept was created in the 1940s by Albert C. Carter, inspired by his mother, who worked as a medium. Carter developed the idea with a toy -making partner, and the invention was later patented and commercially produced by Alabe Crafts. In 1950, Magic 8-Ball was licensed by Mattel, becoming an icon of pop culture and sold to this day.
The Magic 8 Ball Mattel 80th Anniversary Edition reproduces the classic toy with its iconic shape of a number 8 pool ball with a different red-red painting to celebrate Mattel’s 80th anniversary and all the joy and happiness it brought to the world with its products. Just ask a question, shake and turn the ball to see answers like “yes for sure”, “don’t count on it” or “ask again later.”
Mattel was founded in 1945 by Harold Matson, Elliot Handler and Ruth Handler, and is currently one of the largest toy manufacturers in the world.
The Side Ball Magic 8 Ball Mattel 80th Anniversary Edition costs $ 10.99 in the pre-sale of Entertainment and Arth, which accepts orders from Brazil.
