Aquarius has released a very cool rock deck from the iconic North American band Lynyrd Skynyrd, originally formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in the late 1960s and releasing their first album in 1973.
The Lynyrd Skynyrd Playing Cards deck comes with 54 cards, including two jokers, decorated with images and graphics of the excellent rock band.
The band suffered a terrible plane crash in October 1977, which resulted in the death of vocalist and songwriter Ronnie Van Zant and guitarist Steve Gaines among other members. Despite the tragedy, Lynyrd Skynyrd returned in 1987, led by Johnny Van Zant, Ronnie’s younger brother (Via Wikipedia).
The deck is officially licensed by Lynyrd Skynyrd, the cards have a linen finish and the official poker card size is 6.35 by 8.89 centimeters.
