Now it’s official! We will have League of Legends on Esports World Cupwhich takes place in Riyadh already Saudi Arabia.

Little is known about LoL at the Esports World Cup
Although confirmation came at the end of March, the information about LoL in the Esports World Cup was already public knowledge after being reported first-hand by the journalist Jacob Wolf, famous on the North American scene for several leaks.
At the time, he revealed an internal Riot email that showed that Major regions like LPL, LCK, LCS e LEC they should send two representatives each to the tournament, but the choice of teams would not be up to Riot Games. It was unclear whether smaller regions like the CBLOL will participate.
Although the confirmation of League of Legends’ participation in the World Cup has been confirmed, details of the tournament format, or even which teams will play in it, have not yet been revealed.
