After breaking records of audience at CRUNCHYROLL, Solo Leveling It will gain a live action adaptation from Netflix. The platform aims to enjoy the huge success of the anime to attract even more fans of the work.
Netflix has just announced that the adaptation of light soil will be starring by Byeon Woo-SEOK, which will give life to none other than protagonist Sung Jinwoo. The actor was known for works as a 20th century girl and Lovely Runner.
Production is being made through a partnership between Netflix and Kakao Entertainment and Sanai Pictures. The project will be directed by Lee Hae-Jun and Kim Byung-Seo, a duo he previously worked together on red alert (Ashfall).
“Lighting Soling” is a South Korean web that was later adapted to Webtoon (Korean comic) and anime. The work has achieved great popularity, becoming one of the most famous within its genre.
On lightning soil, “portals” to other dimensions open and release monsters, with some humans awakening like hunters – superpowered individuals in charge of fighting these creatures.
