After countless rumors and leaks on social media, Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver finally made the decision. In development for over six years, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was announced last Thursday (18) and will arrive in 2024 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Set in 15th century Bohemia, the story of the sequel will continue to focus on Henry of Skalitz, the protagonist of the first game who will return in search of revenge for the murder of his parents. Warhorse Studios also revealed a beautiful announcement trailer — which you can see below:

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is “twice as big” as the first game and will have two maps
In an email conversation with the IGNTobias Stolz-Zwilling, spokesperson for Wahorse Studios, revealed that the scale of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 It’s much bigger than the first game.
He even mentions that the game is “giant” and “twice as big” as the original, also stating that the sequel will accurately address the historical events in the Kuttenberg region, in Bohemia.

The spokesperson also commented on the fact that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 have two maps, with each of them measuring “roughly the size of the first game”.
“Theoretically, being twice the size could mean anything: map size, number of missions, new features… and I believe the answer includes a little bit of everything,” continued Stolz-Zwilling.
“Yes, we now have two maps, each approximately the size of the first game. Yes, of course we will have more missions, cutscenes, random encounters and the like,” he explained to IGN.
