Hasbro has released a smaller, more portable, and colorful version of the classic JENGA stacking game.

The game was created by British Leslie Scott, inspired by a traditional game she used to play during her childhood in Africa. Upon returning to England, Scott realized that the game was a huge success at parties among friends and decided to professionalize the idea, naming it “Jenga”, the Swahili word kujenga which means “to build”. The game was officially presented to the public in 1983, during the London Toy Fair and soon after began to be sold internationally.

The Jenga Mini Spring Edition Game comes with 15 colorful plastic blocks to assemble a 5-story mini tower. The blocks are painted in pastel colors: light blue, pink and light green and their tops are decorated with grooves imitating wood and the game’s logo. Recommended for people over 6 years of age.

The stacking game Jenga Mini Spring Edition Game costs US$11.99 on pre-order from Entertainment Earth, which accepts orders from Brazil.
