Is GTA RP available on mobile? Here’s how to play on Android

GTA RP is one of the most famous games of the moment. The game/mod that mixes RPG elements with the world of Grand Theft Auto It’s a craze in Brazil, especially among streamers, who simulate a daily life within the universe of Rockstar Games.

And although it is very popular in the PC version, nowadays it is also possible to play GTA RP on your Android smartphone. And to help you, today Voxel brings you a tutorial teaching you how to download, install and run the popular game on your cell phone. Check it out!

What is it GTA RP?

As the name suggests, GTA RP is a modification that, when installed on a version of GTAtransforms the game into a kind of Online RPG. To do this, specific servers are used, which in turn create a unique universe for your games. They can change everything from cars and characters to much of the original setting, making it practically a new game.

Furthermore, in GTA RP You need to get into character, with the right to interpretation as in a traditional RPG game. In many cases, the player begins his journey in the game as an ordinary professional, and gradually evolves until he achieves respected positions, and even increases his importance within the universe.

And during this process, you need to complete a certain “workload” of tasks. For example, if you are a driver, you need to drive for hours to earn a good amount of money in the game, and thus evolve your items, such as clothes, vehicles, and even houses.

The game is also popularly known for having stricter rules than GTA traditional. While in the original Rockstar game there are times when you even benefit from illegal behavior, in GTA RP Your character may have to serve time, or even be banned from the server if they do not follow the established rules.

Although there is no charge to participate in the game, due to demand, some servers have a waiting list for you to start your online journey within the game.

How to play GTA RP no Android?

First you need to remember that, to play GTA RP on Android, you need to use the game GTA San Andreas. This is because the main chapter of the franchise used to play the mod on PC is GTA 5which in turn, to date, does not have a version for smartphones, that is, neither for iOS nor even for Android.

To download GTA San Andreasyou need to buy the game from the Play Store. It currently costs R$19.90, and you can purchase it through this link.

In addition to the game, you will also need two more apps. The first of these is Grand Theft Auto: SAMP, which is a mode that adds a multiplayer mode to GTA San Andreas. You can download it from the official website, through this link.

And finally, you also need to download ES File Explorer, which is a file manager for Android, and which can be downloaded from this link. However, it is possible to do the procedure with another file explorer of your choice.

To play GTA RP on Android you must first get the full version of GTA San AndreasFonte:  Play Store

After downloading the apps and installing the GTA San Andreas on your Android, follow the steps:

1. Using the file manager, go to the location where you downloaded the Grand Theft Auto: SAMP file;

2. Once there, extract and install the bluild69 APK;

3. If for some reason the app does not appear as installed on your Android, go to the Android>obb directory. Then, save the folder with the name “com.rockstargames.gtasa”;

4. Now delete the GTA San Andreas and install the build69 APK;

5. Then, copy the folders with the respective names: “SAMP” and “texdb”;

6. Once copied, paste the folders into the Android>data>com.rockstargames.gtasa>files directory. If you don’t find these folders, just start the game and they will be created automatically;

7. Done, now just start playing and have fun with it. GTA RP on your Android.

It is important to note that this entire process for playing GTA RP on mobile is not officially approved by Rockstar Games. Furthermore, much of the process is done through tools maintained by the community and installed outside of the Play Store.
