Iron Studios has put one of its fantastic Art Scale statues up for pre-order, inspired by the eighth studio album by British rock band Iron Maiden.
The Iron Maiden Eddie “Fear of the Dark” Deluxe Art Scale Statue recreates the stunning cover of the Fear of the Dark album, released in May 1992, featuring Iron Maiden mascot Eddie emerging from the dry trunk of a dead tree, like a vegetal Nosferatu in the pale moonlight, with red eyes and a mouth full of sharp teeth. The cover was the first cover illustrated by artist Melvyn Grant for the band.
The Iron Maiden Eddie “Fear of the Dark” Deluxe Art Scale has long arms extending like branches, claw-like hands, and feet that blend with the roots of the tree. The monster emerges from a stone brick base of an ancient well that leads to the depths of the unknown.
The 1:10 scale statue is a limited edition and is made with high-quality materials, including polystone resin and others. It measures 31 cm high by 18.3 cm wide and 16 cm deep and weighs 640 grams. Eddie is officially licensed and has a hand-painted finish.
The Iron Maiden Eddie “Fear of the Dark” Deluxe Art Scale Statue costs US$269.99 in pre-sale at Entertainment Earth or at the official Iron Studios Brazil store.
