IGN Elects Elden Ring as the best PS5 game so far

With the generation has been half of its lifetime, the American portal IGN has recently taken the opportunity to publish a list of the best games available for PlayStation 5 so far. The list is focused on titles with native versions for the PS5, not telling games that run by retrocompatibility. In addition, recent titles such as Death Stranding 2 and Clair Obscur have not yet been added by the release factor, with the portal stating that the initial hype must be waited for.

Focusing on the top 3, third place the site put Metaphor Refantazio. The portal elected Atlus’s latest JRPG for bringing a mature story with all the persona charm, as well as new additions like a deep class system.

Secondly, we had the acclaimed Larian Baldur’s Gate 3. The game was praised for its incredible adaptation of a Dungeons & Dragons, with a lot of extremely charismatic content and characters, as well as offering a lot of complexity.

Finally, in the first place we have the beloved Elden Ring. IGN states that this game is the reference when it comes to soulslike, refining the formula and adding new elements, such as an open world and great freedom, being a milestone in generation.
