Hawked: see requirements to run new free game on Steam

This Thursday (30), the multiplayer game Hawked was made available for free on Steam, which is enough to attract many interested parties. Bringing elements that mix a Fortnite vibe with Indiana Jones, the title promises to bring a new formula to extraction games, competing with the DMZ mode of Warzone and Escape from Tarkov.

Produced by the company My Games, Hawked can be downloaded for free and played in two ways: solo or in trios. The good news is that in addition to being available with dubbing in Brazilian Portuguese, it also has a server in Brazil at launch.

During gameplay, the player faces groups of enemies and also monsters controlled by AI, ensuring a different gaming experience. For those who enjoy shooting games and are looking for an experience that goes beyond games and battle royale, Hawked is worth keeping an eye on.

Does Hawked have a paid battle pass?

Similar to games like Fortnite, Hawked will be monetized with a battle pass system. The game promises a lot of character customization, features skins for weapons and even has a room in the lobby to be customized. The good news is that the title will allow you to redeem items for free.

The first battle pass, called Renegades, arrives with more than 60 rewards. Players can level up by playing and redeem free and premium rewards when purchasing the pass.

In addition, the game also has other campaigns to encourage players in its early access debut. Hawked is currently distributing free items via Twitch drops, as well as in-game missions guaranteeing more rewards.

Will Hawked be released on PlayStation and Xbox?

While it is currently only available on PC in early access, Hawked will also be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and X in early 2024, according to the developer. Before that, the title will have an open beta and crossplay on consoles.

The free, multiplatform beta will be available between December 7th and 11th on consoles. While PlayStation players will be able to take advantage of the test by downloading the game from the PS Store, Xbox users will have to use the Xbox Insiders system to access the title.
