Harry Potter series gains first official image of the new protagonist
The new series of Harry Potter Da HBO is under development and promises to faithfully retell the story of the books that have won fans around the world. With the cast already revealed earlier, production officially started today and HBO took the opportunity to release the protagonist’s first official image.
Released today by HBO, the image shows the actor Dominic McLaughlin characterized as Harry Potterusing the classic Hogwarts uniform and the character’s round glasses. You can also see part of the iconic scar in the shape of radius on your forehead.
According to information from the portal Colliderfilming of the first and second seasons will take place in sequence. The decision seeks to preserve the visual authenticity of the series, avoiding major physical changes in the young cast among seasons.
In the lead roles, the series features Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley, John Lithgowcom Album Dumbledore, Janet McTer as Minerva McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Severo Snape, Nick Frost as Rúbeo Hagrid, Luke, Luke Thallon as Quirino Quirrell, and Paul Whitehouse as Argus Filch.
The reboot has no official debut date, but it is expected to arrive between 2026 and 2027.
