GTA V and Online to launch in Saudi Arabia and UAE after 12-year wait

GTA V , as well as its online mode, have been available on the market since 2013 practically all over the world, but unfortunately Rockstar Games’ big hit was not released in certain regions.

As revealed by the official PlayStation social media account, Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online will be released in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia after a 12-year wait.

Both titles are rated 21+ and will be released there on July 17. In the past, GTA V and GTA Online have not received local approval due to their content, which includes violence, illegal substances and more.

“Enjoy the ultimate entertainment experience with Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online, rated 21+ in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Available July 17 on PlayStation 5.”

It is unclear whether there have been any changes to Grand Theft Auto V’s release in the region, but it is expected that it will. Remember that next year will see the release of GTA 6. Let’s see if it will be released in the UAE and Saudi Arabia at the same time as other countries.

Grand Theft Auto V is available on multiple platforms.
