USAopoly has put up for pre-sale a themed version of the classic board game Clue (Detective) based on the great series of young horror books Goosebumps written by the North American author RL Stine, considered the “Stephen King of teen literature”.
The story behind Clue: Goosebumps Edition Board Game is as follows: Slappy, the mischievous ventriloquist doll, has unearthed a cursed secret that has unleashed the creepy monsters of Horrorland upon an unsuspecting town. The players’ mission is to foil Slappy’s sinister plan by discovering which monster is helping him, where they are hiding them, and what treacherous traps they have set.
The Clue: Goosebumps game comes with a special board featuring locations from the Horrorland haunted amusement park, including the Bat Barn, the Guillotine Museum, the Doom Slide roller coaster and the Wheel of Misfortune Ferris wheel among others.
The game has 6 personality cards, 21 rumor cards, 25 intrigue cards, 9 location cards, 6 illustrated character pieces with colored bases (Carl, Lizzy, Fang, Luke, Peggy and Clay), 6 monster tokens and 6 trap pieces: fire, coffins, sticky web, spiders, purple slime and bats, plus an envelope, dice and notepad.
