Aquarius has put up for pre-sale a giant Marvel puzzle to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the superhero group The Avengers in the historic comic book The Avengers #1 published in September 1963.
The Marvel The Avengers 5000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle reproduces the incredible The Avengers 60th Anniversary Heroes & Villains poster created by artist Dusty Abell.
The illustration features 56 of the Avengers’ greatest heroes and villains from over 60 years of history, including the Silver Age of the 1960s and the Bronze Age of the 1970s until around 1986. The superheroes and supervillains are represented in their classic versions and together in a single illustration in homage to comic book greats such as Kirby, Buscema, Adams, Perez and Byrne among many others.
The puzzle has 5,000 pieces made of thick, quality, non-shiny paper, the pieces are cut with a precision technique that guarantees a perfect fit, leaving virtually no dust. The puzzle comes in a huge deluxe box and includes a velvet pouch to store the pieces and a replica of Dusty Abell’s fantastic poster. It was officially licensed by Marvel Comics and when finished it measures 1.48 meters high by 1.07 meters wide.
