Fortnite: Epic Games increases the price of the Battle Pass for the first time

After years of maintaining the fixed price of the Battle Pass Fortnite at 950 V-Bucks, Epic Games recently announced that things will change from December 1, 2024.

In a publication on the official website last Friday (15), the Epic Games announced that the Battle Pass Fortnite will now cost 1,000 V-Bucks. Although the increase is bad news, the company confirmed that the real money price of V-Bucks will remain the same — and that you will still be able to obtain in-game currency by advancing levels in the pass.

Additionally, the 25 Battle Pass Rewards package is now cheaper for players — going from 1,850 to 1,800 V-Bucks. In short, these are very specific monetary adjustments.

Fortnite Club will also undergo changes in December

Despite the increase in the price of the Battle Pass FortniteEpic Games took advantage of the publication on the official website to bring good news to battle royale players — especially those who are members of the Clube Fortnite.

Currently, the subscription includes the season’s Battle Pass, 1,000 V-Bucks and a service-exclusive skin every month — as well as extra benefits of Club Pack Outfit styles and Rocket Pass Premium from Rocket League.

In addition to all these perks, from December 1st the Clube Fortnite will also offer subscribers the Music Pass and LEGO Pass at no additional cost. Of course, it’s worth remembering that by participating in any experience and earning XP, you will advance through all passes simultaneously to receive numerous rewards.
