Funko has put a Pop! Very cool VHS Cover of the classic horror blockbuster The Exorcist, directed by William Friedkin with a screenplay by William Peter Blatty.

The Exorcist Father Karras Funko Pop! VHS Cover Figure with Case (#22) comes with a reproduction of the iconic cover image from the film’s original VHS videocassette tape featuring Father Merrin (Max von Sydow) arriving at young Regan’s house at night, standing on the street in front of the window lit by the girl’s bedroom, shrouded in fog and shadows, capturing the confrontation between light and darkness in a simple, mysterious and immediate way.

The image was inspired by the surrealist painting “The Empire of Lights” by René Magritte, which also contrasts a dark street with illuminated windows, generating strangeness.

The Exorcist Father Karras Pop! VHS Cover also comes with a Pop! of Father Damien Karras (Jason Miller) possessed by the demon Pazuzu, with his black cassock, scratched face and yellow eyes.

The set comes inside a sealed clear acrylic box with the doll firmly affixed to the base. The box can be displayed on a shelf, on a table or hung on a wall and measures approximately 27.4 cm high by 17.8 cm wide and 7.2 cm deep.

The Exorcist Father Karras Funko Pop! VHS Cover Figure with Case (#22) costs US$24.99 on pre-order from Entertainment Earth, which accepts orders from Brazil.
