
Elden Ring Nightreign, FromSoftware’s newest game, brought a more cooperative focus on previous studio titles. Although it is possible to play alone, the recommendation is that it is in trio for better balancing. However, the absence of a 2 players’ mode ended up generating criticism, as it forced doubles of friends to play with a third stranger.
Now from -fromSoftware has heard community feedback and has announced that it will officially release a mode for 2 players in Elden Ring Nightreign. The news will arrive very soon, on July 30, as part of update 1.02.
In addition to double expeditions, Patch 1.02 will also bring other improvements, including interface improvements, such as new options for filtering relics.

With the release of this update, Elden Ring Nightreign will officially feature solo, double and trio modes, allowing up to 3 players unite in cooperative matches to survive together. In the game each player can select one of the available heroes, each with a set of unique skills, which can be improved during the match.
Elden Ring Nightreign is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam.
