
The long -awaited Dying Light: The Beast was scheduled to be officially released on August 21, 2025, but developer Techland has just confirmed the decision to postpone the game’s release.
Now, with your new date, Dying Light: The Beast will be officially released on September 19. Techland has announced that the four-week delay is necessary to perform “extra polishing” in the game, aiming to make it the best experience in the Dying Light series.
Techland plans to adjust the balance of gameplay elements, improve the clarity of the user interface (UI), improve the quality of physics, and refine cutscenes and players’ animations.
“We have always aimed to make Dying Light: The Beast the best game in the series we have ever released. To honor this promise, we made the decision to postpone the release date for September 19, 2025, so we can work on final adjustments.”
“We understand that this may be disappointing, but our experience has shown how important the first impression is. With just four weeks, we can take care of final details that make all the difference between something good and something excellent.”
The game will be available for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series S | X at launch, with versions for PS4 and Xbox One being planned for the future.
Owners of Dying Light 2: Stay Human will receive The Beast for free, as part of Techland’s commitment to the community.
