Plastoy has launched an incredible puzzle in honor of the classic series of bands drawn Blake & Mortimer, which is not so well known here in Brazil.
The Franco-Belgian series was created in 1946 by Belgian artist Edgar P. Jacobs, one of the pioneers of the comic book known as “Ligne Claire), popularized by Hergé, creator of Tintin. The Blake et Mortimer series has a clean and detailed artistic style, coupled with a plot rich in science fiction, espionage and mystery, standing out for its serious tone, dense plots and scientific rigor, reflecting Jacobs’s passion for history, archeology and science.
The protagonists of the series are Captain Francis Blake, British intelligence officer, and Professor Philip Mortimer, a scientist specializing in nuclear physics. Together they face international threats, scientific conspiracies, and inexplicable phenomena, often involving their archenemus, sinister Colonel Olrik. The series is still published today by Dargaud publisher, by several authors who succeeded Jacobs, preserving their legacy and popularity among fans of classic European comics.
