Under the name of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu on Yaiba Infinity Castle, we have here the first movie (from 3) that serves to adapt the final events of the work (manga).

The film premiered on July 18, 2025, raising JPY 1.65 billion (US $ 11.13 million) with 1,155,637 tickets sold on the first day, marking the largest daily revenues in Japan’s history.

Between July 18 and 20, the film won $ 37.3 million with 3,843,613 tickets sold. Including the holiday (Monday), the total reached $ 49.4 million with 5,164,348 tickets, establishing a new national record.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu on Yaiba Infinity Castle raised $ 3 million in 59 IMAX screens over the weekend (Friday to Sunday), a record for the format in Japan, reaching $ 3.5 million by the end of the holiday, with an average of $ 48,000 per screen.

Kimetsu on Yaiba tells the story of Tanjiro Kamado, who enters the corporation of demons hunters after his sister Nezuko is transformed into a demon. Along with companions Zenitsu and Inosuke, Tanjiro faces various battles alongside the powerful Hashira, such as Rengoku, Tengen, Muichiro and Mitsuri.

While the whole corporation undergoes strict training for the final confrontation, Muzan Kibutsuji attacks the Ubuyashiki mansion. Tanjiro and the hashira run to help, but are taken to the infinite castle, the fortress of demons, where the decisive battle against Muzan and their strengths will take place.
