Guangzhou, July 1 (Xu Qingqing, Guan Yue) According to Guangzhou Customs on the 1st, Guangzhou Customs recently seized 880 suspected infringing Labubu plush toys in the freight channel of Guangzhou Nansha Port.

According to reports, when inspecting a batch of export goods declared as “toys” recently, customs officers of Nansha Customs under Guangzhou Customs found that the goods were declared as “unbranded”, but the plush toys in the cartons were highly similar to the popular Labubu series products of Pop Mart. After contacting the relevant intellectual property rights holders, it was confirmed that the above-mentioned goods were products suspected of infringing their intellectual property rights.

Customs reminds: According to the Customs Law of the People’s Republic of China, if the import or export of goods infringes upon the intellectual property rights protected by the laws and administrative regulations of the People’s Republic of China, the customs shall confiscate the infringing goods and impose a fine; if a crime is constituted, the criminal liability will be investigated in accordance with the law.
