USAopoly has announced a version of the board game Clue inspired by the hilarious mockumentary comedy series What We Do in the Shadows created by New Zealander Jemaine Clement in 2019 and available for streaming on Disney Plus. The series was based on the film of the same name directed by Clement and Taika Waititi in 2014.
The Clue: What We Do in the Shadows Edition Board Game is based on the disappearance of vampire Laszlo Cravensworth’s 100% witch fur hat and the residents of Vampire Mansion in Staten Island must discover WHO took it, WHERE they hid it and WHAT item they used to hide it.
The game comes with a custom board featuring the rooms and chambers of the Vampire Mansion, including the Fancy Room, the Topiary Garden and the Attic, among others. 6 character pieces: Laszlo, Nandor, Colin, Guilhermo, Nadja and The Guide, as well as 6 collectible pieces from the hiding places: coffin, Nadja doll, stuffed owl, lamp, under the floor and hollow book.
Clue: What We Do in the Shadows also comes with 6 personality cards, 21 rumor cards, 25 intrigue cards, envelope, two six-sided dice, and notepad.
