Clair Obscur celebrates victory at the Game Awards with major free update

After an unforgettable night at the Game Awards 2025, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 continues to surprise with a major free update. Publisher Sandfall Interactive today released the so-called Thank You Update, a gift to players after all the support and success of the game this year.

The core of this update is a new playable world called Verso’s Drafts, a more colorful and magical environment inspired by the childhood memories of one of the characters. In it, players will encounter new areas, unexpected enemies and even some situations that deepen the story.

Another new feature that everyone wanted has finally arrived: Photo Mode. Now you can take photos of your best in-game adventures, with filters and creative options to capture epic moments, perfect for sharing online or saving memories.

For those who have already finished the game or are looking for more challenges, the update brings new boss fights in the Endless Tower, as well as new weapons, rare items and other surprises.

The soundtrack also has something to smile about: there are new songs by award-winning composer Lorien Testard, available both in the game and on streaming platforms.

The update improves the game’s accessibility with more supported languages, totaling 19 different languages, and several technical improvements to make the experience even better on all devices.
