Gentle Giant Studios, together with Diamond Select Toys, has put up for pre-sale a new bust from the Star Wars Legends in 3D line inspired by the film Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, directed by Irvin Kershner in 1980.
The Snowtrooper Legends in 3-Dimensions 1:2 Scale Bust – Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back perfectly captures the fearsome elite soldier of the Galactic Empire, specially equipped to operate in extremely cold environments, such as the planet Hoth.
The imperial soldier comes with his white armor to camouflage himself in the snow and a differently designed helmet with a narrow visor designed to offer protection and visibility in snowy and low-light environments.
The bust, in 1:2 scale, is supported on a base imitating a piece of metal and measures approximately 25.4 cm (10”) in height. The edition is limited to 1,000 pieces accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity in a collector’s box with a window.
