Andrew Wilson, CEO of Electronic Arts, does not describe Battlefield 6 as a product, but as a platform, the result of a different approach than the past. However, the approach to prices will remain.

Asked by investors about Battlefield 6 plans, Wilson replied that it is more than a product, it is a platform in which “we are investing more than any other Battlefield that came before him,” but asks to wait for July 31 to know everything.

For over 4 years, 4 studios have worked in Battlefield 6, which will begin to be promoted in force from July 31. “As a company, it has all our support. Maybe you saw the trailer a week ago or that. It was very well received. Of course, it’s just the first trailer. Most of our players are waiting for the great revelation that comes within days.”

Wilson also suggested that they are not concerned about the gaming escapes that are being shared after Battlefield Labs sessions, in which players participated as they are a way to reach the community and show more of the game. However, it will be their revelations to really show what Battlefield 6 is.

Regarding the price of Battlefield 6, EA has no plans for any change, especially since its catalog is already made up of experiences at various prices, from free games to cheaper games, premium 79 euros games, without forgetting the most expensive special versions.

EA CEO says they want to have experiences with all kinds of prices, to serve all kinds of players, in order to deliver the best possible value, and although in the future they can for other types of price to deliver the best possible value, there are no changes provided today. In addition, thanks to the strength of its service efforts, EA intends to focus on delivering quality content in the long run and not specifically increasing prices.
