Monogram International has launched two PVC Figural Bank DC Comics coin safes created especially to store the savings of Gotham City residents featuring the Batman and Joker duo.
The Batman DC Comics Figural Bank is shaped like a chibi-style doll, with a disproportionate head of the Dark Knight wearing his black and gray uniform with a yellow utility belt and a bat symbol on the chest. The hero comes holding a Batarang in his hand (bat-shaped throwing shuriken).
The Joker DC Comics PVC Figural Bank safe captures the Joker in his classic purple tailcoat with green vest and orange shirt. The Clown Prince of Crime also has his green hair and the characteristic macabre and sinister smile.
The piggy banks are made of high-quality PVC plastic with disproportionate chibi-style heads. They are officially licensed by DC Comics and measure approximately 8″ (20.3 cm) tall. Coins are inserted through slots behind the heads and removed through a trap door with a plastic stopper at the base.
The Joker DC Comics PVC Figural Bank piggy bank is $24.99 for pre-order from Entertainment Earth, which accepts orders from Brazil, and the Batman DC Comics Figural Bank piggy bank is $23.99 on Amazon.com.
