Bandai Namco

Bandai Namco revealed today, the 29th, a small teaser to mark the date of its next event. On July 2nd, the company intends to show news for a list of its games, many of them based on anime. We will even have a new game for My Hero Academia.

The video is a really short teaser, showing just a few quick scenes of the games that are expected to be presented. The games promised to be highlighted for the event are:

  • My Hero Academia: New Game Revealed
  • Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree: new trailer
  • Digimon Story Time Stranger : Detailed Gameplay

Tekken 8 will also have news for the event

The Bandai Namco games that appear prominently in the teaser with short scenes are followed by a list of other titles that will also have news released. They are:

  • Code Vein 2
  • The Blood of Dawnwalker
  • Death Note: Killer Within
  • Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots
  • Little Nightmares 3
  • Patapon 1+2 Replay
  • Shadow Labyrinth
  • Super Robot Wars Y
  • Tekken 8.

Of the games on the list, Death Note: Killer Within and Tekken 8 stand out as they are already available. It’s very likely that we’ll see some DLC content for them, especially with
Fahkumram’s arrival to the Tekken roster getting closer and closer.

Bandai Namco teaser doesn’t talk about Tales of, but…

Bandai Namco chose not to mention anything about Tales of, its famous JRPG series, in the teaser. However, there is a good chance that we will see some news from the franchise.

In the first week of June, the official Tales of series account made a post promising that the next remaster of one of the games would be revealed soon, in the summer in the United States.

Given that Bandai Namco’s event is its Summer Showcase, it seems like the perfect time to show off the remaster. Meanwhile, the last truly new title in the series was Tales of Arise, which came out in 2021.

The producer’s event takes place on July 2nd, at 4pm (Brasília time).
