The new edition of Ubisoft Forward, a Summer Game Fest special, took place this Monday (10) with lots of new games from the French publisher. Among them, it is worth highlighting the first glimpse of Assassin’s Creed Shadows e Star Wars: Outlawswhich gained generous gameplay.

Overall, the event was more focused on content updates and more in-depth gameplay reveals than had previously been announced. In the following lines, the Voxel brings the main announcements and news from Ubisoft’s digital event. Check out:

Star Wars: Outlaws

Entitled to a performance with a symphony orchestra, Star Wars: Outlawsfrom Massive Entertainment, has a new gameplay video to show a little more about the dimension of its universe and its specialist mechanics, who are important contacts for survival in the galaxy.

The demonstration shows the protagonist, Kay Vess, entering into space conflicts, which could have consequences for her reputation with unions, and the exploration of planets. The player actively participates in the process of boarding, traveling and disembarking on planets.

The launch is scheduled for August 30th for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, with location in PT-BR.

XDefiant

Newly released, XDefiantUbisoft’s new free shooter has gained details of its first season, which arrives on July 1st with various content – including weapons, maps and game modes.

According to the trailer, the intention is to launch a new map every month to shake up the community. A Capture the Flag mode, which is a favorite of the genre, is also on the way. The game is available for download on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.

Skull and Bones

Ubisoft remains committed to updating content for Skull and Bones, which will receive a PvP mode as part of its third season. A trailer was shown to also demonstrate some of the new ship types and cosmetics that will be available soon.

The game is available for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series and Ubisoft is constantly running free trials so users can try it out.

Prince of Persia

Ubisoft brought three new features about one of its most classic franchises, Prince of Persia. To begin, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown won one free update with new boss and platform challenges, plus puzzles, charms, outfits and more. A story DLC, called Mask of Darknessis also scheduled for September this year.

O spin-off da Evil Empire, The Rogue Prince of Persiayou will also gain a new biome in your Early Access: The Temple of Fire.

Finally, to celebrate the franchise’s 35th anniversary, Ubisoft confirmed that the troubled remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time It arrives in 2026, with a very short teaser that doesn’t say much. No further details were shared.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

On July 16, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will get The Sky Breaker expansion, which is included in the Season Pass. Ubisoft showed the first gameplay that shows a little more of the content that is coming to the title, which was originally released in December last year.

It is worth remembering that the game is available for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.

Year 117: Pax Romana

Ubisoft’s civilization-building franchise embarks, this time, on the Roman Empire with Anno 177: Pax Romana. Players will be able to choose between the provinces of Albion and Lazio to build, trade, and expand their operations.

At the moment, the game is scheduled for 2025 and has not received gameplay details. During the event, only the following live-action announcement trailer was shown:

Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Ubisoft showcased a generous amount of gameplay Assassin’s Creed: Shadows during the live broadcast. The franchise, which finally embarks on Feudal Japan, at the end of the Sengoku Era, features two protagonists with their respective gameplay styles: Yasuke, who is the historical black samurai and Oda Nobunaga’s right-hand man; and Naoe, a Japanese native who uses stealth techniques.

The game will have a cycle of climatic seasons that apply significant changes to the environment, to the point of allowing different approaches to combat. In gameplay, it is possible to feel the impact of Yasuke’s skills, as well as Naoe’s versatility for assassinations and even long-range weapons, such as a kusarigama.

It is worth remembering that the game arrives on November 12th with versions for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. Pre-sale is now available.
