Neca has put up for pre-sale a new Universal Monsters Ultimate 7-Inch action figure inspired by the classic film The Mummy, directed by Karl Freund in 1932.
The Ardath Bey “The Mummy” Universal Monsters Ultimate Action Figure depicts the mummified ancient Egyptian high priest (Imhotep) in his human guise as the eccentric Egyptian historian named Ardath Bey, played by actor Boris Karloff. The priest comes dressed in sculpted clothing exactly like those worn in the film, including a brown tunic with belted sash, gold buckle and red tarbush hat.
The Ardath Bey Universal Monsters Ultimate comes with 3 interchangeable heads, in different states of decay, and 7 hands in different positions. In addition, it also comes with accessories copied from the film such as an oil lamp, cane, scroll of Thoth and sacrificial dagger.
The action figure, in scale 1:10, has several points of articulation to reproduce the poses from the film and measures approximately 17.8 cm in height. It is officially licensed by Universal Studios and comes packaged in a special premium box with a window and opening front flap.
The Ardath Bey “The Mummy” Universal Monsters Ultimate Action Figure costs US$36.99 on pre-order from BigBadToyStore, which accepts orders from Brazil.
