Super7 has put up for pre-order a double set of ReAction Rock action figures by French electronic music band Daft Punk with their iconic style and robotic look.
The band, founded in 1993, was formed by the French duo Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter. Known for their futuristic helmets and mysterious identity, the two helped define the sound of modern electronic music by mixing house, funk, disco, rock and pop. Over almost three decades, Daft Punk has profoundly influenced pop culture and the global electronic scene. His latest album, Random Access Memories (2013) won several Grammys, including Album of the Year for the hit “Get Lucky.”
The Daft Punk “Human After All” (Technologic Ver.) ReAction Figures Wave 01 set comes with the techno duo with a look inspired by the iconic music video for the song “Technologic”, from their third album: Human After All (2005), directed by the artists themselves with a small animatronic robot repeating a frantic sequence of technological commands – “Buy it, use it, break it, fix it…”.
The figures come with electric guitars as accessories and Thomas Bangalter comes with a silver helmet and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo with a removable gold helmet that reveals a circuit board face.
The retro-style Daft Punk (Technologic Ver.) ReAction set measures approximately 9.5 cm (3.75″) tall and has 5 points of articulation. They were officially licensed by the French band and come in double blister packaging with graphics and a red background inspired by Technologic’s music video.
The Daft Punk “Human After All” (Technologic Ver.) ReAction Figures Wave 01 double set costs US$45 on pre-order from Entertainment Earth, which accepts orders from Brazil.
