Mezco Toyz has put up for pre-sale a One:12 Collective action figure of the vigilante O Sombra (The Shadow), a character from pulp magazines and comics from the 1930s and 1940s created by writer Walter B. Gibson for the radio program Detective Story Hour.
The Shadow One:12 Collective Figure comes with three interchangeable heads, all with a wide-brimmed Fedora hat and one with a red scarf covering his face. The vigilante comes dressed in fabric clothing inspired by his appearance in the 1930s and 1940s, including a tailored suit, black overcoat, black cape with burgundy lining and scarf.
The mysterious The Shadow One:12 Collective comes equipped to wage war against New York City’s criminals with two automatic pistols with 6 removable magazines, a Tommy gun with two removable magazines, a variety of special shooting effects, and a Devil’s Whisper FX effect.
Plus a Scales of Justice scales, a crystal ball, suction cup climbers, vest with holsters and a two-way radio with extendable telephone arm and video module to contact Burbank, the Shadow communications center agent.
The Shadow One:12 Collective action figure, in 1:12 scale, has more than 28 points of articulation and measures approximately 17 cm tall. It is officially licensed and comes packaged in a collector’s box.
All that remains is to say the famous phrases from the radio program like “Who knows the evil that hides in human hearts?” “The Shadow knows… Because he has evil in his own heart!”
/ “Sombra never fails!” / “The seeds of evil bear bitter fruit!” / “Crime does not pay!”.
The Shadow One:12 Collective Figure costs US$112 directly from the Mezco Store, which accepts orders from Brazil.
