
According to new information shared by Deadline, 21 Laps, in partnership with 20th Century Studios, is developing a reboot (Reboot) of the “One Night in the Museum” franchise.
The plot will be a new story set in a museum, with totally new characters, but specific details have not yet been released. Tripper Clancy was hired to write the film’s script.
While Shawn Levy and Dan Levine will be producers for 21 Laps, with Emily Morris supervising. The original franchise, which began when 20th Century Studios was 20th Century Fox, includes three successful films directed by Shawn Levy and starring Ben Stiller.

Based on the 1993 children’s book by Milan Trenc, the story is about a night watchman who faces chaos when the museum objects come to life at night.
