Mortal Kombat 1: DLC with new fighters may have been leaked; look

This week, even before its official launch, dataminers found some files with several mentions of content not yet present in Mortal Kombat 1. Various of this information may indicate content that should arrive in future DLCswhich includes new characters and Fatality animations.

More specifically, some evidence was found in speech files for characters not used in the launch version of Mortal Kombat 1. In this context, it is possible that the files were not used because they were being prepared for future versions of the game with more content, but it could also be content that was planned, but was removed during development.

After digging more with the intros, there is evidence for the following characters:
– Noob Saibot
– Cyrax (Robot)
– Kotal / He-Man / Conan
– Ghostface
– Unknown Girl
– Jade
-Cassie Cage
-Kung Jin

As we can see in the tweet above, the user thetiny highlighted the signs of the main characters that may arrive in the future as DLCs for Mortal Kombar 1, based on the characters’ unused lines.

In addition to this list, other users are reposting other unused lines of dialogue to speculate more characters on X (formerly Twitter). The Internet userYeti, for example, suggested that the T-1000 Terminator arrive in a future DLC, based on a line from Peacemaker, who comments on how a character is similar to his father.

Here, the context is worth mentioning that the actor who plays Peacemaker’s father is the same one who plays the T-1000 character, Robert Patrick, so this line would be making a direct reference — like a small joke within the game.

New seasonal Fatality found in the Mortal Kombat 1 archives

Another social network user, AQUAX, seems to have found an interesting video that shows a previously unseen Fatality animation, but themed for Halloween. The content could be part of a seasonal event for the tradition, which could arrive soon considering October is approaching.
