Mezco Toyz has put up for pre-order a One:12 Collective DC Comics action figure inspired by the excellent comic book Batman: Year One, written by Frank Miller, illustrated by David Mazzucchelli and colored by Richmond Lewis. The miniseries originally came out in issues Batman #404–407 in 1987 and was later collected in a bound edition.

The Batman: Year One One:12 Collective Action Figure captures the Dark Knight at the start of his war on crime, dressed in a custom-tailored, comic book-style fabric costume featuring a utility belt, a wired cape and no less than 5 interchangeable heads, including an unmasked Bruce Wayne, to replicate dramatic, realistic poses of Gotham’s new vigilante.

The Batman: Year One One:12 Collective comes equipped with an experimental arsenal, including 3 Batarangs, 3 different models of Bat-grenades, a dart-effect blowgun, a recorder, a tranquilizer gun, a reflective spotlight and special effects, as well as a One:12 Collective display base with logo and transparent pole.

The figure, in scale 1:12, has a body with more than 30 points of articulation, measures approximately 17 cm in height and comes with 13 interchangeable hands in different positions. It is officially licensed by DC Comics and comes packaged in a collector’s box with a window.

The Batman: Year One One:12 Collective action figure costs US$116 in direct pre-order from Mezco Store or Entertainment Earth, which accepts orders from Brazil.
