Clair Obscur is GOTY and breaks records at the Game Awards

The Geoff Awards 2025 ended with a record-breaking crowning of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, every gamer’s favorite game that has been etched in Geoffs’ history in a way that no other game has.

In addition to winning the Game of the Year award at the Geoff Awards 2025, Clair Obscur from French company Sandfall won awards for its music, artistic direction, direction, narrative, best debut by an indie producer and for the performance of its main actors.

Hades 2 and Hollow Knight: Silksong also received some love, Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves was named best fighting game, and Mario Kart World was crowned best racing game. Nintendo also won another award for Donkey Kong Bananza, the best game for families.
